"content": "GM Nostr! I am looking for a word or term. Like how déjà vu is already having experienced something, and déjà rêvé is already having dreamed about things. \n\nI am looking for a word that describes already experiencing the set up to the joke, and only just now experiencing the punchline. \n\nI feel like this happens a lot in my life. Most obviously around a very vivid memory of how angry everyone was around me about Nadia Comăneci. I was a little girl and honestly was so confused and thought the adults anger was so funny. I remember them talking about Soviet gulags and how infinitely superior America was and I literally laughed because they were being so ridiculous. That moment felt like a comedy show to me but I didn't understand why until decades later ...\n\nLife so happened that when I was young I found myself living in Tallinn, Estonia. And at one point we went to go party at some luxury apartments. Over the course of the night I learned that these buildings had actually been the notorious Soviet seaside prison. It was wild because even through the party favors you could tell there was a weird haunted vibe. And yet everyone was so happy and agreed that it was ridiculous. People died and were tortured and it was ridiculous. And now we've figured out how to make blue jeans with spandex in them so they're even sluttier and the USSR fell and it all seems even more ridiculous!!!\n\nImagine how angry the Soviets would have been to know they'd be hosting me with my skin tight pants, American bravado, and capitalistic confidence? How angry would that 80s American family be if they knew their little girl was going to go off to smoke blunts in the Baltics and talk about socialist philosophy in the former USSR? HOW SILLY IS ALL OF THIS?!?!\n\nI like interacting with the other side, the other dimensions / angels make very good jokes. But the other side is a timeless place and the key to the punchline is timing! I find the longer I live the more of these setups and punchlines I experience, and I need a word to explain why I'm laughing so hard 🤣\n\n#asknostr #dejavu #life #philosophy #psychonaut #USSR #USA \n\n\nhttps://image.nostr.build/faccfdbb43388982b18d9b78360c855304d9453699228f9ecf3009a2f9659ec9.jpg\n\nhttps://image.nostr.build/09e371f2ca8b1c04a870378dd72c336acd111fbcad212a9b4c719b75034c810f.jpg",
