One of my biggest aha moments while learning about bitcoin was listening to Gigi (npub1der…xzpc) on preston (npub1s5y…6q7z)‘s podcast -
“If the last bitcoin block was mined 7 mins ago, when will the next block be mined?”
I had never truly appreciated the probabilistic nature of hashing and it’s implications before this.
I love using it to explain bitcoin mining to friends.
