Finally listening to preston (npub1s5y…6q7z) interviewing jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) about the #Nostr protocol and #Damus client.
As someone who’s been in high tech for quite some time and neck deep in enterprise networks and communication, this is a great episode to share with friends and family that will keep it simple to the general public. Email and Web browsers are probably the best examples of the protocol of Nostr while Damus, Astral, Nostrnotes etc are comparable to Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo (lulz) for email, or Safari, Chrome, and Firefox for web, but with complete decentralization and increasing security and encryption. Great stuff guys! I’ve loved watching this being built from the ground up and being a part of it!
