I am very happy I finally did mine. I designed my own mount and light, which was great! I hover printer thin defusers in white ABS to slide over, which are just a layer or 2 too thick. We need to redo them just with 2 or 3 0.2mm layers as the light is too soft now.
I also use it as a mood light😂 I just love my dark room at night with just my enclosure lights on. It looks like a fireplace and just gives my room this great feeling.
You can automate them with #Moonraker and #Klipper. Mine automatically turns on at the start of a print and turns off at the end of a print.
