Android Emulator has always dragged for me. A lot better now with the M2, but I keep a Pixel 4a connected to my computer and use that instead of emulator because it’s faster.

Maybe some of our code can help with your setup process. We’re stuck on RN 0.66 for now though, and a lot has changed with current RN.
