I am not super radical on this, as some people definitely report being able to save a lot of money and get rich off of a marriage.
But, 80% of the time, the statistical truth is: marriage is very counterproductive to wealth
50% divorce rate, guy loses half his money if not more
Beyond that — it’s just as common to stay married and get volunteered into yearly Disney world, daily eating out, etc. Lifestyle creep.
At the very least, get wealthy before then. Compound interest.
