One of the reasons I simply don't run additional checks for "groups that are immune from criticism" is because I'm autistic and I'm absolutely horrible at sorting people into buckets like that. Where most people aren't even gonna hit 90% accuracy, I'll be lucky to do 50%. And that's after spending a sad amount of compute cycles trying to do the sorting in the first place.
The engineer's solution? Don't sort people into buckets. Which, when I was growing up, was what progressivism was all about.
