I won a raffle for a dog tag on Twitter a few years ago from snicktoshi🥩 (npub1zj0…y9th) and received a dog tag from him.
A year later Nostr came about and #Plebchain, the Nostr + Bitcoin human network was the energy (hence the # and front Nostr, back Bitcoin)
Nostrica was being planned with 300 cap of attendance, hence 1-300. I couldn’t make it but I wanted to do my part. I contacted Snicktoshi to make 300 dog tags specifically for the event. We talked about the design and thought Sovereign Matt (npub1fl7…eknp) ‘s Nostr logo would be best for the front. (3 plebs involved)
We only had a few weeks and shipping would take a week. Snicktoshi was able to make100 for Nostrica and get them there in time.
I was shipped 100 thereafter and Matt100. I shipped mine to be handed out at Bitcoin Miami Nostr Event.
Since then more dog tags for events have come about…. Anyways, fun Nostr history.
