Okay, so, I figured out a workaround.
My cart total was 10 items. So, since that is a nice round number, a developer might think "Hmm, that's a good cutoff, 10 items is a bit sus."
But, let me tell you what the ten items were:
2 subs
1 salad
1 drink
...
And six cookies.
That's why the app refused to let me add another item. Because of the six cookies.
I was forced to sacrifice a cookie.
