I can only agree, 20 years ago that was me. It does take a while to accept that no amount of evidence or expert opinion makes a difference.
In retrospect, it should have been obvious, theres ample evidence for plethora of other behavioural issues like alcohol consumption, religion, smoking, cars, resource depletion, plastic use etc that no amount of evidence would modify behaviour.
There are many people, including many in here, that still refuse to acdept it and the inevitable result of denying the laws of nature necessarily means civilisation collpase but then what is it they're defending ? The right of the richest 20% to exploit and abuse the poorest 80% amd destroy the biosphere along the way ?
That doesn't mean do nothing, thier is dignity in doing the right thing, keeping your emissions low and voting Green but also live and enjoy your life being kind to others as it will end soon anyway.
