That said, you determine how “functional” it is based on how private you want it. No Google means no Google Maps.
Also, I haven’t figured out how to use an NFC payment app that I trust (i.e. ApplePay, GooglePay). That’s my biggest roadblock and why I am not using GrapheneOS as my daily driver.
