Yeah, it is not *that* bad; more of an annoyance than a problem. Still, having the condition in the middle seems odd to me. Also, it does not scale that well - consider for example
a<min?min:a>max?max:a
vs.
min if a<min else max if a>max else a
But admittedly, one can probably get used to it. 🙂
