There is CloudFlare in front of the sites currently, though I'm a little fuzzy on what it's doing and how because I haven't dug into that yet.
Currently the sites are sharing a big, old CentOS 7 managed server that was grandfathered into GoDaddy.
I don't care for GoDaddy hosting & I'm also not keen on multiple big sites sharing the same server because it's too "all eggs in the same basket" for me. And one of the sites is going to jump majorly in traffic next year when it launches.
