On the contrary, IMO, The rioters showed exactly what it means to be English - not Welsh, Irish or Scottish. Occupation, control of others, subjugation, expulsion is what the English have done in all the countries they invaded and occupied over hundreds of years; even to their own by sending them to Australia as convicts back in the day, or to Ireland as plantation. I’m sure there’s plenty of it in Lammy’s history if he bothered to check.
