It's happening. My son wants to sit and listen to me read #LordOfTheRings! 😮
So far we've made it to The Sign of the Prancing Pony. We're doing some abridgement; he asked me to skip the prologue, and I passed over the Old Forest. But the core of the story is there, and he's even listening to the dialog scenes now. He loves looking at the maps.
Parenthood has turned out to be *very* different than what I envisioned when my wife got pregnant, but this was always on the list. And it's wonderful.
