Google has so much power over indie creators, and even medium-sized content businesses. And with Reddit’s new AI-influenced ‘pay to play’ business model, which may also give them precedence in Google’s search results (not sure about that, but I would guess that’s part of the deal), the web content ecosystem gets even harder to work in — whether you create content or provide alternative search services.
