The gold coast neighborhood in Chicago is considered the wealthiest neighborhoods out here. A lot of old money in this area. Major shopping districts are in this area, off of rush st, and Michigan ave. Its tourist central. You'll see Gucci, channel, Prada, and other high end retailers. At the intersection of state st, rush st, and Bellevue is mariano park which forms a triangle at these intersections. Across from the park is the Bellevue. Its a super swank place, expensive cocktails and food are served. At night the old money men hang out at the bar. Most nights you'll see them talking it up with random younger women. Typically these women are high end escorts who come out and try to find a wealthy john. Hence, locally, this area is known as Viagra triangle, since these old money guys probably need a little help getting it up for the ladies that are courting them for their money
