I've sort of really gotten in to writing image descriptions. With art it lets me focus on what it is that l like about a work, to try to somewhat objectively convey that in a succinct manner. The kind of challenge that tickles my brain.
With other images it forces me to focus on exactly what the issue is. To lay it out.
No image description is really objective of course. But there is a distancing that occurs when you describe an image. I think it's useful.
