"content": "We all ran around like chooks with our heads cut off trying to grab everything before it washed back out to sea, including the boat itself, life jackets, fishing gear, spare petrol canisters - you name it. Just as we got it all collected in one place in the beach and were staring to discuss what to do next, a couple of somewhat “rough and tumble looking” local youths come bounding down the cliff yelling “that’s our uncle’s boat and we have to get it out of here right now!!” (note: due to the local accents it took some time for us to understand wtf they were saying). Turns out the tide had turned, and the beach would be gone in another half hour or so (which I didn’t believe tbh). (2/3)",
