the thing, though, that makes me howl in exasperated laughter is Johnson's assertion that he wasn't really negotiating the deal; that would be done later. this way he could get it over and done quickly and get it in the media.
then when told it was binding, huffed and puffed and said nothing cannot be changed. he'd negotiated in bad faith with the EU like he did with everyone. and even if he didn't he could routinely and unilaterally break it and force the EU to accept it.
and so here we are...
