It's inner emotional resistance to the experience of Now. It's the creation of time in the mind.
There are no facts. Every thought is a lie. The horror lies in the resistance to the realisation that you have no way of "knowing" anything at all.
It's not the thought that's the problem. It's the failure to realise you shouldn't believe any thought at all.
