A single-celled organism lives and survives in much harsher conditions than a cell in our bodies.
Similarly, our ancestors lived in much harsher conditions thousands of years ago.
Now, we exist in a completely different, much more forgiving environment.
However, most of our survival mechanisms were fine-tuned in the past. As a result, we are battling enemies that no longer exist.
We need to retune everything, or we risk fighting shadows and wasting our lives.
