Its so interesting that people, in general (outside of our gay, leftist world of the Fedi), commonly hold two deep beliefs that kind of contradiction each other:
- The apocalypse is exciting, because it brings us into a world where we are forced to cooperate for survival, and no longer chained down by government and capitalism.
- While society could be better, anarchy is a chaotic mess. A world without the state and the capitalist structures facilitating profit motive and functional hierarchies surrounding it is unsustainable.
How strange when you hold those two propositions next to each other.
