No, I am not saying the world will end next week haha I think that this preparation is the same reason why we have #Bitcoin and use #Nostr, we want to be prepared and not depending on states/big-techs. Plus, you are just preparing yourself for extreme situations like natural disasters (such as what we saw in Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and Florida now) and some global supply chain disruption in case of a massive attack against Iran's oil fields or a conflict in Taiwan/South China Sea.
Being ready is never a bad idea. Take care #nostriches and don't feed fear or desperation in your mind while learning/building it, life is beautiful and there will always be nice places on this planet to be, you are just taking care of you and your loved ones.
