I will probably do the connected thermostat thing with my utility company to get a 30% discount
Will need to read the fine print, but my usage pattern would only come into conflict with high demand about 3 months out of the year. I can just override it for those 3 months if I want to and not get the discount. The other 9 months are free money on the table.
