Okay this might go down as cursed in your books. A pic of the peas after having been soaking overnight covered with about 5cm of water.
Here they're developing a good amount of fart gas - all the bubbles you see are farticles, which is the main ingredient of pea soup or snert.
Lifting the lid filled the kitchen with fart smell but I promise it is going to get a lot better.
