A #cooking🧵, 1/?.
It's what the Dutch call 'snertweer' - pea soup weather. No relation to London Particular; just cold and wet and the kind of weather that makes you want to stay inside with a bowl of steaming hot pea soup.
So I set out making pea soup the way my family have always made it.
First, I soaked 250g each of dried and split peas in water w/ baking powder in.
(If it looks like I used double amounts: correct. I cook in bulk)
