I mainly see the disparaging kind, though, and mainly among people who reassure each other that they are \"not like visual design people\" and suggesting that UX or IT in general has become \"shallow\" or \"superficial\".\n\nIf we want to tackle this as a discipline, we should have an understanding who focuses on visual design and why (It does not seem to come from inside the discipline, looking at conferences, publications and social media).",
