Parastoo Ahmadi, along with the musicians in her band, was arrested and imprisoned last night. In the 21st century, the mullah regime in Iran continues to imprison artists simply for exercising their natural right to sing and wear what they choose. The mindset of this government is one of ignorance, backwardness, and hostility toward Iran and its people.
