This is not easy for most people. When we say/do something others have a perception of what we are saying through THEIR experiences.
MOST times how we view what we say/do are NOT the same view/perception others have of EXACTLY statement or action!
So we have to try to understand how all these millions of other people are viewing OUR personal views/actions.
Ever explained something to someone and it seems like it went in one ear and out the other? We all have! It's frustrating!
Do you know that's YOU not being a good communicator - NOT THEM not getting you! OUCH.
Great post you made. Great point. Try to 'sense' how someone feels BEFORE you talk. Try to understand where they may be coming from - this all requires YEARS of practice.
I'm an engineer. I'm terrible at this! (laughing) Took me a lifetime to just understand it's NOT what you say, it's how you say it and how they hear it - all that matters. This requires your consciousness to grow a LOT and other than all out stupid (there I go again) you see FAR LESS fault in others. It's my fault if they don't understand!
