I have a nasty habit of stumbling upon government cover-ups. A few times, I was just poking around public data. Another time, some reports looked strange, so I kept scratching at them until I discovered why.
It's genuinely starting to get annoying. Just once, I want to analyse public data without finding something weird. Because it's starting to look like my government is comprehensively crooked - and I literally don't have time to deal with that right now.
