Slack's decision to allow opt-out only via email is a guaranteed shit-show. Emails will get misdelivered, lost, misfiled, sent to spam, etc. How can I remotely rest assured that sending an opt-out email will actually result in my being opted-out? Can I trust my clients' confidential information to a system like this?
The only reason for Slack to do this is that they want to make it as hard as possible to opt-out.
