I’ve lived all my life in the suburbs (even when it was a more remote mountain suburb), but have never felt as at home as I feel here on our farm. 🥰
We’ve only gone poultry mad so far. (About 100 chickens and ducks at the moment.) Since the dreaded alpha-gal got us shortly after arriving in Missouri, we’ve had to put off getting any mammals. But I hope to one day maybe get a donkey or mule or two for predator protection.
