#WritersCoffeeClub 8/7. In your writing, what is the best thing you've done (or might do) to a reader's state of mind?
I honestly just hope my books will make people happy. Give them an escape - where in one brief, shining moment they experience a world in which good triumphs over evil and love wins the day. And maybe that happiness and hope will make their real life seem less dreary.
It may be corny or cliche, but what's what reading has done for me. And that's what I hope to give my readers.
