I think we'll learn soon if Prigozhin was, in fact, aboard that plane. But one interesting thing:
The initial reports from Russian media suggested that the flight that *was* shot down was registered to a company called MNT-AERO LLC. (МНТ-Аэро) and the plane make was a ERJ-135BJ.
The actual make of the downed plane was EMB-135 and the plane (best I can tell) was never registered to MNT-AERO.
The plane that landed, however, *was *an 135BJ.
Did Moscow mis-identify the flight they shot down?
