You know why* I ported a Linux distribution to a phone that has just turned 5 years old?
Because otherwise these devices would have become trash. Literally.
Even though they're perfectly fine.
Support ended. They are now "End of Life". Seriously, just imagine someone would tell this to your parents. "Sorry, but no food for you, as you are end of life."
WTF. What an abomination.
This way some great hardware can live on.
(*And also because I like small phones.)
