When I make a post that very clearly shows my school abolitionist politics and someone comes into my mentions like "you should read this!" with some incredibly reformist book or article, I always wonder what they think that will achieve.
Do they think I'll read it and go "wow! I thought school was an authoritarian institution that harms children and is antithetical to all my anarchist values but actually there just needs to be better curriculum! 🙂"
Like, what are they envisioning here?
