There is a difference between a process of handing in a few things and answering a few questions throughout the process and working with them which tends to entail a much more frequent series of communications.
Why would I want to hire an artist? Idk... I want the end result? I like their style and I want something in their style? I don't go to an artist because of their personality - I go because of their work.
