It may be too late for phase 7, but I urge us all to focus our next Podcasting 2.0 developments on what will serve the audiences.
Think of what is that thing that will be so compelling to audiences that they will be searching for a Podcasting 2.0 app that serves that need?
Personally, I think that should be what we've been called "cross app comments," and improved chapters. For those fewer live shows, then more live UX improvements, like chat or video support, should probably be priorities.
