#PennedPossibilities #Writing 484 — What are your favorite chilling (not necessarily full-on horror) scenarios to write? How are you able to accomplish this? Through setting, emotion, dialogue, and / or buildup?
Semi-delusional supernatural encounters are my fav. I like building the scene with it being slightly off-kilter but still blending well with the ongoing story. Then slowly ramp up the illogical elements as they suck the character into belief. I use setting and dialog primarily.
