My last job was permanent. It would have been categorised secure. I was made redundant after three years.
My current job is fixed term, extended if funding can be found. It would be categorised insecure. I've been in it three years so far and have a contract until the end of 2024.
My "insecure" job has already lasted longer than my "secure" job did.
