I used to work at Aus Post years ago. I’m guessing the delivery method would be the same, regardless of which office you now & used to collect mail from. It sounds like maybe they had a shortage of drivers & decided not to bother trying to deliver, except for the one that got through. Whatever the reason, not good enough & never ok to tell porkies.
I agree re complaints. The higher ups don’t necessarily know there’s an issue otherwise.
