I set it to sqlite, started it, then it complained about keys missing in the DB.
Docs don't mention having to use a sort of pre-written sqlite for starting it first.
Also, the Debian package did not create the directories that are required and I had to do it by hand.
In the end I just gave up, seemed too buggy and not well documented.
If you've got info on setting it up, please share.
