Not necessarily but also not just a deli slicer.
It has a 9" blade and I'll probably look at the 10" blade models next time.
It cannot handle bone, only flesh.
I also had to find one that could give me the thickness I wanted, an inch.
The slicers designed for only deli look to have much smaller thickness levels, some half an inch or less.
One issue I do have with this one is that the base and food tray are too small for a sub-primal cut. I can safely manage it but I'll want to look for something larger next time.
Again, this was just a trial to do a proof of concept. I really liked it.
So now to do the deeper dive and find what I want.
