6 stage: Port st. Joe - Panama City. (41.7 miles)
We had a terrible storm at night, luckily Google warned us in advance and we were cautious. We went to an RV resort that cost us $60.
Pro: We secured a safe place from the storm, washed our clothes, and had a dry place to ride out the storm.
Cons: the storm was so strong that it flooded the store, luckily we moved quickly, we took out everything and took refuge in the washing machine room.
The route: boring, we crossed a military air base and, well, lots of traffic. But the shoulder turns out to be very safe so far.
A piece of advice, during the trip, follow the directions on the maps as if you were a car. When you enter the cities, click on the bicycle option to travel through streets with little traffic.
Our first host at WS, a spectacle. Very nice, she offers us a room for us, food, a washing machine...we don't know how to thank so much attention from all the people who are helping us make this trip. Thank you all very much
