One of the tricky things with designing shooting games for phones, or at least.. designing them with autofire by default is that I need to build a list of things the player can target.
You might say “just let them target all enemies" well ok, true, but so far in both my games you can target sub-components of enemies.
What about "destroy this building" or "don't destroy that enemy" or "this gun can shoot through walls and there's giant explosive barrels?"
