Of course, elections are important.
Of course, we should want to defeat Trump and Republicans.
But it starts to feel like the candidates foisted on us would prefer to keep us in a state of panic so we don't ask too many questions about them.
There is good reason why we should decouple their personal ambitions and the stakes of an election from our principles and policy preferences.
They need to KNOW when we disagree with them and that it's up to THEM to win elections by doing what WE want.
