While I don’t disagree with this, I also think some context is missing…or perhaps it’s nuance.
As a born again believer, one has been given Holy Spirit.
I will admit that growing up in a non-denominational congregation there wasn’t much emphasis placed on Holy Spirit.
(Likewise I think our relationship with Him can be abused by some denominations and Christians)
Extremes aside, Western Christians don’t lean into Holy Spirit enough.
We try to do so much in our own power; when if we would get out of the way and let Holy Spirit lead us, we would see much more clearly and accomplish with less effort.
