Drindy Adventure is probably imo the best mode of the lot because you're not under constant pressure of losing air and you can kinda go at your pace and drill the board out.
Star Driller Special is frustrating me to no end my best is 2230m. After 600m you start to lose air fast and the blocks fall fast and the question "?" blocks add an element of RNG that sometimes pits you in a situation that's out of your control and you lend up getting crushed from falling blocks >_<. Atleast i'm now getting more consistent with getting to 1000m+ without dying but I usually end up dying to bs at 1100-1200 or run out of air or get crushed in the 1600-1700m range. If I could get to 2000m with 2 lives in tact I could probably hit the 3000-3300m requirements needed for the excellent prize stamp score.
Nice thing is the game works perfectly under Proton on Linux too I feel it'd be better on a deck or using a gamepad. I tried playing it on my ThinkPad T480 with a Core i5 8th gen and intel UHD graphics and it was playable but the keyboard and mouse controls feel awkward compare to the xbox one pad i'm accustomed to playing with.
