Point 2 is almost a complete no-brainer. It would allow them to simplify their firmware codebase, as well as not require them to manufacture, and maintain stock of, two sets of boards and screens. Plus, this would legitimately be an upgrade, and again, would require almost zero real effort, aside from a new LCD mount. (cont.)
